The 2026 CAPiTA Aeronaut is developed by the creative mastermind of Side Hit Euphoria, the Rocket Man, Arthur Longo. He created this board to be the king of your local resort, being able to ride any terrain in its path while maintaining incredible board control, pop massive ollies, and stomp any landing without having to second guess your footing. The directional, cambered shape of the Aeronaut can handle even the most demanding terrain while the Hyperdrive ADV XT base, Panda Hover Core and V-Tech Amplifiers offer a lightweight and fast board without having to compromise durability to your new deck. It is almost as if the Aeronaut was created to make those same runs you have ridden over and over feel new and exciting as you explore a whole new world of snowboarding.

Board Type: All Mountain-Freeride

All Mountain snowboards are versatile boards that excel across various terrains, from groomed runs to off-piste. These boards offer solid edge control and responsiveness, making them a great option for riders who want one board to do just about everything.

Freeride snowboards are built for steeper, off-piste terrain. These boards are ideal for aggressive riding and usually for more advanced riders.

Flex: 6/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

Offering a balanced blend of flexibility and stiffness, mid-flex boards are versatile and suitable for all-mountain riding. They provide enough responsiveness for carving while maintaining some forgiveness for playful or casual riding.

Ability Level: Advanced

Advanced snowboards are stiffer and more responsive, designed for high-speed control, precision riding, and handling challenging terrain or tricks.

Shape: Tapered Directional

A tapered directional snowboard features a shape where the tail is narrower than the nose, providing enhanced control and stability in deeper snow. This design improves floatation in powder and allows for smoother turns, making it ideal for freeride and backcountry riding. While it excels in one direction, the taper helps the board naturally guide you through challenging conditions.

Camber Type: Alpine V3 Directional

CAPiTA's Alpine V3 Directional profile features a deeper traditional camber that tapers to zero just before the end of the sidecut. These subtle zero-camber sections deliver enhanced control while preserving the responsiveness and power of a classic cambered board.

Sidecut: Progressive

CAPiTA's Progressive sidecut combines two or more radii blended together to accommodate the three stages of a turn. This design ensures smooth turn initiation, enhanced control throughout the turn, and maximum power when exiting.

Width: Standard, Wide

Standard width boards deliver exceptional edge-to-edge quickness and responsiveness while providing enough platform space for riders with average boot sizes.

Wide boards are for those with large boot sizes and provide extra flotation, reduced drag, and never feel clunky or cumbersome underfoot.

Inserts: 2x4 Inserts

These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments.

Board Construction

Topsheet: PLT Technology - Metallic Screen with Metallic Underlay

Exclusive to CAPiTA, PLT Technology bonds the topsheet into the already pressed snowboard without having fiberglass structure to show through the topsheet. This creates a seamless connection and does not require an additional layer of lacquer to smooth out the top of the snowboard, saving on both using environmentally unfriendly materials and adding unnecessary weight to the snowboard.

CAPiTA creates their incredibly detailed and vibrant topsheet designs using a combination of digital and hand screen printing methods. Their PAM16000 Printing technology utilises 16,000 individual inkjet nozzles to produce flawless digital graphics with solventless, water-based UV ink—delivering exceptional accuracy, quality, and speed. Additionally, every CAPiTA topsheet includes a portion that is silkscreened through a hand screen printing process, adding unique texture and depth to the final design.

Laminate: Holysheet Tri/Bi, Magic Bean Resin, 3x25mm Carbonflax Amplifier

The Holysheet fiberglass construction utilises fiberglass weaves designed for high tensile strength and low elasticity. By incorporating a greater roving count without increasing weight, this configuration enhances board strength and responsiveness. For peak performance, tri-axial fiberglass layers are strategically positioned above while bi-axial fiberglass is laid below the core, ensuring superior durability, stability, and overall ride quality.

The Magic Bean resin system, developed over three years, is plant-based with high bio-content, zero waste, and no greenhouse emissions. It requires low production temperatures while delivering high yield, strength, and durability. Its enhanced rigidity allows for a thinner wood core, reducing weight while increasing energy return for a lighter, more responsive board.

Carbonflax is an advanced composite material combining natural flax fibers with carbon strands, engineered for next level snowboard performance. This innovative blend harnesses carbon’s explosive responsiveness alongside flax’s lightweight feel and vibration absorption. With their complementary properties, these fibers create a durable, evenly flexing reinforcement that enhances both stability and energy transfer.

Core: Panda Hover Core

CAPiTA's Panda Hover Core is an ultra lightweight, ultra responsive core made of Paulownia and Poplar and the addition of Bamboo Power Rods.

Base: Hyperdrive ADV XT Base, Sublimation Print

The Hyperdrive ADV XT base is made with a premium sintered polyethylene material for the highest levels of anti-friction due to the high molecular mass of this base. This base is extra thick for enhanced durability.

Sublimation is a fine-tuned process that brings graphics to life with bold, vibrant colors. By using heat and pressure, ink is embedded into the base material rather than just sitting on top, making the designs pop. Since the base is thicker and more opaque than topsheets, this technique enhances colour depth and clarity.
