Highball Glasses, White & Gold Feathers/Plumes, with Caddy, Set of 8, Mid-Century Modern, Vintage 1950s–1960s

Eight glasses. A caddy to carry them. White and gold feathers on every one. This is how a mid-century bar was supposed to look.

This is a set of eight vintage MCM highball glasses in a white and gold feathers/plumes pattern, complete with their original carrier caddy. Unmarked — maker unknown. Circa 1950s–1960s. Excellent condition throughout. One set available.

The glasses have the clean, slightly tapered silhouette of the best mid-century highball form, and the white and gold feather/plume pattern is elegant without being fussy — the kind of decoration that works with a cocktail as well as it works with water at a dinner table. At 5.5 inches tall with a 2.75-inch opening they are proper highballs, with good hand-feel and the right proportions for a Scotch and soda, a gin and tonic, or anything else that deserves a beautiful glass.

The caddy is what elevates this from a nice set of glasses to a genuine bar piece — a carrier designed to hold and transport all eight together, the kind of hosting detail that the mid-century took seriously and that is genuinely hard to find intact with a full set today. The glasses are unmarked, so the maker remains unidentified, but the quality of the glass and the survival of the full set with caddy speak for themselves.

No chips, cracks, or scratches on any of the eight. Hand wash recommended.
